We only stay 1 night, Hotel looks really nice and glamorous,clean, room very pretty. They help us to arrange trasportation to the port and to the airport next morning, they respond to emails.
Advertise a fruit basket in the room upon arrival, never saw that, also they have a cell phone in the room it suppose to work for us, never did , when we show the girls at the front desk, they were discussing in Greek , several minutes, finally my husband ask them what's going on, they did not respond to us for a while, to finally explain that the phone was not working, they should of told us that right there instead of making us wait for nothing.
free wi-fi internet even in the room; polite, helpful and friendly staff; tasty breakfast; the food and the service in the restaurant are awesome; room is comfortable, big enough and clean; on the sea; very close to a tram stop; easy to reach via car; free underground garage;
the only place to park is the hotel’s underground garage, which is a way too small; the car key is kept at the reception; there is a big boulevard in front of the hotel, traffic never stops; a little bit too far away from main archeological/tourist attractions;
The staff is very helpful and accomodating. The price is excellent and the buffet breakfast is just right. The area is quiet with the beach opposite the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It is perfect for spending a few days. We stayed here for 2 nights then sailed to the islands. On our return we stayed anothwer 2 nights.
The rooms are a bit dark. More lighting would be nice.
Very nice location of the Port Pyrea and Glyfada area,also good disposition to the center!Quait good of the breakfast.
Small fitnes club!
Bad bathroom, so small with creepy tub, if you chose to move yourself you will kick the door, washbasin, toillete shell and tub all together. Mettresses and pillow are so soft. Parking is to small and thiny. Swiming pool is like for a 12months old child, not like in picture! Girl from bar doesn't speak english. To be honest the hotel is not so bad, no matter of my comment, but bathroom is awfull!
The friendly and excellent service of the complete staff
Some of the staff was really very helpful and nice and made our stay really very pleasant :D, the location was quiet, we had the windows closed and no problems with the street noise. When you are outside and there is lots of traffic it can be very loud. So the double glass was very welcome!
If you need public transport to go to the center of Athens it apparently takes very long, luckily we did have a car so never had to rely on public transport, a cab to Sygmata costs about 9 euro. So it is not really bad as whenever there are demonstrations in Athens you are safe and have absolutely no problems with it. However if you hoped to get with public transport quickly to the center this hotel might not be for you.
Although its was on the outskirts of the city it was well located for sight-seeing, the tram stations were easy to use & the routes that are needed for getting around were easy to follow. The staff were really friendly & spoke excellent English. The rooms were clean & being there in the middle of July the air-con was well appreciated.
Staff is very friendly, fine view of the gulf with sailing vessels. There are swimming pool on the ruf.
I would have spa in hotel, and use restaurant on the ruf for dinner
I have stayed at the Coral Hotel many times and have always been satisfied with every aspect of it.
I am not sure why but this trip we seem to have been put in a much smaller room which was in need of updating. We did not pay any less this time than other times we stayed so I can presume this has something to do with having booked through Booked.net and their contract with the hotel. I was disappointed.
Easy access to airport and transport. Friendly and helpful staff, great and quality breakfast. Value for money.
So friendly, delicious meals, clean and comfortable.
Staff was friendly and they allowed us to postpone our checkout with 2 hours due to a personal issue that occurred in the last day. Good price.
Location of the hotel is not close to the center of Athens and not close to the good beaches. Furniture is a bit old but is still functional. Compared to other hotels in the area, it is definitely above them in terms of quality; however, compared to a standard 4 stars hotel the cheaper price comes with a drop in overall quality.
We were there as members of a Cosmos tour group. The folks at the front desk were friendly and helpful with information and directions and to get taxis. We could communicate in English. The room and bathroom were clean. The room air conditioner unit did an adequate job of cooling the room. The TV had CNN and BBC in English so that we could know news from USA. Wi-Fi was free. Each room had a safe deposit locker. The restaurant served good food at a reasonable price and the complimentary buffet style breakfast was good. The hotel was located just a few blocks from the Flisvos tram station and the beach. Tram ride to center of Athens took 40-45 minutes. There were good shops, pharmacies, super markets and restaurants in the area near the hotel. There was a computer terminal in the lobby which we could use to connect to internet and print boarding passes. Overall, our stay was comfortable and we would not hesitate to go back again.
Wi-Fi connection in the upper floor rooms was unreliable. It disconnected often while we were using it.
The location is excellent - next to the beach and away from the noise of central Athens. The car parking service is excellent. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The family room arrangement is very good and has a separate security door.
The windows in the room should be a little thicker to dampen the noise of the cars from the main highway.
